Last summer we had a remarkable trip to Bonaire. It is trully the best place and most cost effective for what is the best diving in the Caribbean. SCUBA Diver magazine readers vote it #1 year after year. 100+ vis, flat seas, and prolific marine life make it the choice. We stayed at Divi Flamingo Dive Resort and it really is the best diver’s destination I have stayed at for ease of diving and all around. The diving out front is premier and the boats and crew are outstanding. They have 2 restaurants and a small casino. Dive lockers are right on the pier. You carry your gear about 10 feet to the boat! Package has 3 boat dives per day (#3 is comped) and unlimited shore dives (day or night). We have 2 weeks setup, back to back. THE TRIP IS PERFECT FOR FAMILIES.
Trip Specifics:
- Double room (rooms have frigs, blenders, and microwaves) Note: the rooms are fairly spacious with 2 queen beds
- Buffet breakfast (great food, important for big days of diving!)
- Airport transfers
- 2-AM boat dives and 1-PM (I negotiated the PM dive at no charge) (16 boat dives total)
- Unlimited shore dives (begins on day of arrival)

Diver: $995 land package / Airfare is about $700 from RDU
Non-diver: $650
Nitrox for boat dives: $100 additional (excellent cost for islands) - especially good for us “older divers” Free Nitrox instruction included, just buy the books and tables ($60)
Quad rooms at lower price for parents/children are available at $150 less per person ($845 diver, $575 nondiver). Triple is $130 less per person ($865 diver, $595 nondiver). Also kids from different families can be in a quad room at lower quad rate
